When you do this trip again to pick up that bathroom candle I highly recommend visiting the Madonna Inn, https://www.madonnainn.com/. I don't know if the rooms are dog-friendly but they are wild as hell! Even if you don't stay there, the main building is great to check out. Also, they have one of my all-time favorite pools.

This is such a good tip! They are not dog-friendly or else we would’ve definitely gone. And they are on my list for a non-dog trip ASAP!
